The Red Bay FastFisher 166's cuddy or doghouse is a simple bolt on affair and would be simple to make yourself. Depending on the year, the molds may still be around or have been sold, but don't hold your breath, as it's usual to destroy the molds after the model run.

Making one would be simple and offer the opportunity to make it different, maybe in a style you'd prefer, possibly bigger (they had different sizes), etc. I could be plywood, solid 'glass, cored 'glass, whatever you are comfortable with.

Lastly, making parts this size from a mold isn't as easy as you might think without some experience and if someone owns the mold, I seriously doubt they'd permit a novice laminator put anything into their mold. If you could prove you had sufficient enough experence, they might let you rent the mold for a few days.

    Red bay

PAR , Thanks for reply have spoken direct with Red Bay and they are still able to produce Cuddy . However cost including Tax and delivery would be approx £1500 which is not an option at this moment , In relation to constructing one myself fairly good at chopping logs but that is as far as my carpentry skills go , However no some really competent joiners who I am talking to . Thought it was worth posting on Forum in the off chance there was something about . Once again thanks for reply ,

Glen-l plans are very easy to work with and have plenty of detail so you will have no problem, just need a jig saw. Also, they have a great and big forum to get any questions answered. Good people............................
