Do you have some more info on the ELCO, especially pictures in different angles and from the molds ? Did you produce the Elco 26 yourself or you happen to be able to sell the molds ?

Thanks

The two boats pictured were built by us from the molds that I am trying to sell / give away. There are different cabin arraignments you can build. The first boat has an open backed pilot house much like the original. The second one (green hull) the cabin is marine plywood and epoxy exterior with a mahogany interior. You can use the mold for the cabin (third boat still building) or make any cabin you think looks good. These molds are serviceable but certainly not new. I would not hesitate to use them to start a new boat.

Beam on a finished boat is 8'6". Molds are at least 9' wide bolted together by 7' tall. With proper support they could be turned on their side for transportation on a trailer or they would require a tall container to be shipped.

Elco Molds

Hello,
I was wondering if the Elco molds that were posted in June are still available.

Thanks--

James

Elco

Are you still giving them away?

I have been researching building my own Elco 26' and ran across your posting and would rather cold mold instead of strip plank. What do you think it would take for me to haul them from there (Arkansas...right?) to here, Utah?

I would not be able to pick them up immediately, but I would make it within a timely period (within the next four weeks).

My personal email is jhcelestino@hotmail.com

Thanks for the response and I look forward to talking again.

James
