would these boats be any good to rebuild

I found good plans for a 48 cu. in. 11 ft and a 14 ft 136 -145 cu. in. inboard hydroplane's and i think they would be cool to resurrect from the dead/ junk pile after the 70's and i found plans for air marine special hydroplane which was raced class f and won a ton of races would it be a good idea to build it just like the first and have some fun too or should i go with a more modern plan like the X1 known as the cab over hydroplane. and any one know of any 2 person hydroplane like 12-14 ft.
