Yes. The 1976 World Champion Magic Bus is in Alameda. It seems to be sitting and rotting, and from all reports the owner is not interested in selling.

Here is the thread about it and other QTs: Old Quarter Tonners -Magic Bus

No, Afternoon Delight was a sister to MB, with a daggerkeel.

I found out the boat (AD) was converted with a Martin 242 Keel and then taken to FLA, where she was destroyed during one of the hurricanes about 5 years ago.

If you knew Zeke back in the old days we might know one another.

Do you know who designed it for him? Not too many daggerboard QTs ever here on the West Coast. I've been talking to Harry O and he is currently restoring the old Peterson Daggerboard QT "Rat Race" nee "Blitz". It used to sit in the Windjammers yard next to the Olson 30. If the project gets to be too much he might consider selling it to me.

I have the phone number for the owner if you want to PM me. He was contacted about a year ago and said he would not sell.

It would be cool to know. I asked Bruce Nelson about Blivit last year and he said he thought it was rotting in Long Island 20 years ago, so probably gone. But if there is a daggerboarder out here maybe it is Blivit?
