what type of boat is this?

hi to all
i am trying to find out what type of boat this is, i used to run a 35hp short shaft but i wont to put a 50 hp on it. any info would be great.

Sorry, gezzer - not trying to be offensive (we usually leave that to Sean Herron, coz he excels) - but you have to admit it's pretty small.
You might start by trying to find a HIN (Hull Identification Number) on the transom. It should be high on the starboard side. This will tell you, with the aid of the USCG's database online, who made the beastie. From there, if the mfr is out of business, you can try to find owner's groups.
Either way, good luck with the search. It looks like a great little tub for puttering around, just don't let it near waves (unless it behaves better than it looks like it will )

waves, i can jump this boat 4ft in the air of a cruizers wake,the boat may not look to geat now but its been siting for 5yrs while i have been away, its was an animal when i had a 35hp on it & most people were to scared to get back in it after a crazy ride,i just want to rebuild it & get a bigger engine,i cant find any id marks on it,the omly thing i know is it come from sea world in australia & was used as a stunt boat.

Back in the 1980's johnson outboards made 15" short shaft 50 HP motors look around and you will find it they are cool as hell.

kind of looks like a Sea-Doo that's been thrown in the dryer and shrunk. Near suicide with 35 horse, so where do I send the flowers when you run 50 hp???
