    Michael,

Go with plans for a 16 to 24 foot skiff, without too much width.

What you plan on using this for should greatly influence your choice. So, what is this for?

Use a Bimini top for you 'small cabin' area - then it can actually be larger. Place stowage areas in the bow - a box - to keep things dry.

    Plans are not that much.

At 18' this is a bigger version of what you were asking for, but to me it is totally ugly. But, might be a very rough starting point. http://www.duckworksbbs.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=SF-Skellig_18

take ideas from these two, http://www.duckworksbbs.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=SF-Power_2 and http://www.duckworksbbs.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=SF-Power_1

Then you can have one of the professionals look over your ideas for a fee.

    Hopefully small fee.

    Wayne

BTW, the power two above looks like a 20' version of what you are looking for.
