What happened to Ken Hankinson/Boatdesigns? I was getting ready to order plans for an aluminum dory/skiff from Ken Hankinson Associates/ Boatdesigns.com. Their webpage is dead and I can't find a phone number that works. Two weeks or so ago I received an email response from them so they were in business then..... Anyone know whats up? Thanks, Lance Chico CA

The latest contact information I had for Ken was KEN HANKINSON ASSOCIATES, INC P O Box 272, Hayden Lake, ID 83835 Phone: 208-772-5547 Fax: 208-762-2762 However, I noticed today that the boatdesigns.com domain has been transferred to Glen-L. I'm not sure what this means. Edit: Just recieved word from Glen-L that "Ken has retired and can no longer be reached" and that they have purchased the boatdesigns.com domain name but not any of his plans, etc. They said they also knew Ken was considering retiring, but had no idea it would be this soon. They also added that they have setup a forum on their site for other purchasers of his plans to help each other out.

What design were you going to get? I am almost done with the True Grit 25' in aluminum. I guess Ken just pulled the plug too bad. GS
