I would make a narrow dock on a mooring to tie up my boat and my dinghy. Just put some planks on top, add cleats and some bumpers. Then I could also detach and pole the dock to shore when needed. Maybe have a small motor mount for an electric and use the dock to get around a bit.

A 10' x 10' square 'sharks free ocean swimming pool' to tow behind your boat, just hanging a protecting net in the inside.

I saw that stuff being used on the dredge William A. Thompson and thought that stuff might work for indestructible pontoons. How much does the stuff weigh? Can it be "welded" or something?

ya they "weld" them,,,i have a relative that owns a company that welds them,,$185.00 a pop,,and i cut them with a skill saw and someone to lay wedges behind ya.,,they weigh a little,,but buoyancy in water doesnt seem different from aluminum ones. and i wouldnt be skeered to hit rocks at 20knots,,,well not scared they'll break hehe
