what is the actual name.....

What is the actual name of someone who makes the cushions,curtains and all the fabric items on boats? so far we have been calling him a fabritioner or fabricator, but am sensing these are wrong?

In the Mega business such a person likes to be called "Interior Decorator" but another more applicable term would be "upholsterer"
