Hey all. I am wondering what to expect the difference between wet and dry engine weights are. I have been working on a weight critical design, and I don't know what the real engine weight is vs the published (this case being a Cummins QSB 5.9 230) The published dry weight is 1360, and that includes things like the alternator, starter etc. Anybody know what I can expect the final weight to be?

Isn't just the oil, including filter?

Normally the difference btw dry and wet engine without gear box is the weights of:

    > lub. oil of engine
    > cooling liquid of the engine
