Weaver (now Maxwell) Hatches, Experience?

Hi All

Now I'm involved with a project to build offshore race (sail) boats I would like to pick a few brains for some of the huge amount of knowledge and experience on this board. - It's been a while but great to see some old friends still here and posting strong!

Back to the topic, I am looking at using these Weaver hatches - now bought out by Maxwell. They are built in NZ and look like they will do the job well. It's a serious offshore boat does anyone have experience good or bad?

Thanks for any input!

Paul
