BOAT BUILDER

Looking down at the equity I have
Hanging my drunken head
With open eyes
Look at my nice hardwood floor
Maple trees from where I grew up
I can only afford
Six hundred and thirty square feet of it
Look at my buggered feet and my dirty toe nails
Look again
Look at my hands
Worn out shark skin tools
Stained from years
Years that will shrink any lover from my old frame
I am a man doing the dirty work
For a rich mans bitch

by the way - how is the motor-sailor project progressing? Still set on 25foot with the daggerboard with bulb? Have enjoyed your posts on this - even the poetic ones.
