Wave Form theory

Hi all,
I have a query for the tech minded.
How do the curves of areas derived by (the more recent) longer straight lined forebodies compare with the curves of areas described by wave form theory (the versed sines forebody curve and trochoid afterbody curve as described by N. Skene) - AND - does the use of a master curve include it's application to the curve of cross sectional areas?

Thanks,
Cutta
