| You realize that each piece of strake you put on the bottom removes that much of the hulls 24 degree DEEP V ride? The hull begins to ride harder in choppy water. It is always a balance between good rough water ride or smooth water, faster speeds. If enough strakes are put on - the boat is fast but not smooth in rough water or able to lean into the turns as well. I do not know if any one can look at your design and say it will be better or worse than a Sea Ray of similar appearance in the water. Riding a boat is the only test. |
