Sounds as if what you have works for your area, Rob. Thanks for the replies. I was wondering what the water-skiers think because when I waterskied keenly as a kid, we hated boats with big washes; speed skiiing is what everyone did. But looking back, waterskiers never seemed to spare a thought to the noise and wash we were causing the canoeists etc (most of them just got scared off the waterskiing part of the river) so the waterskiers can't complain if they are treated in the same way.

It's so congested after 7:30-8am that I don't stick around for the Yahoos. Too many inexperienced jet skiiers doing 60mph with little or no boating knowledge.

Most who brave the waters of Mission Bay or any other SD water after 7:30am are generally not too concerned with sharing tight spaces. You will definately not see a canoer or kayaker in this section of the bay past 7am. The college crew teams were side by side with us at 5am working there butts off. I share water with kayakers all day in the ocean up to 2miles out. The kayakers are a very skilled bunch of anglers. They are very efficient with time and space.

I try not to take off from a stand still if my wake is going to roll right at them. At 20mph though the wake is not as big so I don't worry about it too much. I do what I can but we all are sharing space.

I will have to take a shot and post it here of what Mission Bay looks like on a Sunday at 10am. CRAZY!

For half the year it is too dark. The other half it's right at gray light. By 5:15 or so it's good enough to ride without worry.

hey fabioley,

Saw your boat in WW. Nice job. Am planning to build one in the philippines. Would it be too much to ask for the blue print of the shape of the hull?
