Wacom Pen tablets...

Hello...

Dont let your cats get the pen...

HELLO - I just bought and plugged in a little Wacom pen tablet for Photoshop and other use - and tell you what - it beats the balls off of any mouse or other crap
...

Takes a bit of getting used to - mainly because it just make sense - over a mouse and buttons - but it is something when you do...

So I recommend the thing - and I am not reselling it - so there ...

It makes me feel like a human again with a F'un pencil...

The pen is human - the mouse is an Engineers piece of mental masturbation...

I am NOT a Wacom salesman - and I pissed and swore a lot as I got used to it - BUT THE GODAMN THING IS very human - I am holding the pen just now as I type..

Cheers - still holding the pen...

Hell - I edited this post using the Wacom pen - and you all know how much whiskey I can drink in a stand - I am telling you - this thing is great - takes a bit of getting used to - but IT IS your mouse replacement...

Bit of gin and tonic just now...

SH.

Cheers...

SH.

yeah - they are great for a lots of thinjgs - I can't use it in 3D apps - too many buttons and menus to play with. Also the thing that makes Wacom great is of little vlaue in 3d - that special thing is the pressure sensitivity. In photo and texture work its absolutely great - instead of just choosing where you work you can also adjust the force of your tool - huge difference.

try using the cintique

This is old school technology.....

I do agree that the tablet is far superior...

You got to try the wacom Cintique! Just imaging sketching on a sheet of paper... THis is what it is really like....

You draw "directly" on the flat screen

$1500 well spent on ebay
