Very basic rendering help needed

Hi

I am in the process of building a cabin on a 20' displacement hull and I am proficient enough with Rhino to be able to draw this section myself. Or at least to the point where i can get an idea of how one design will look compared to another. And that is the sole purpose of this request.

But... I am looking for someone to draw the hull based on pictures (the hull is already build, 41 years ago actually), so this is purely for visual purposes and need only have the general curves and dimensions for me to get the picture of how my design will look placed on the hull. No hydrostatics or any such factors need to be considered. A simple task I would imagine, for someone with a little more experience with hull-design than me.

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me out.

MBMarine I can do that for you just post some pictures, profile , bow and stern shots and some basic measurements, length, beam, etc.

The LOA is 600 cm, beam 210 cm, draft 80 cm.

As you can tell I have som work ahead of me. The boat has been left behind to suffer a slow death in a shipyard, but I figured I could save it and I like the lines. The type is called Myra 20 and has long traditions in my part of the country. It was one of the first fiberglass boats ever to be manufactured in Norway.

My plan is to make a mini-tug out of it. Only the hull is to be used, but I am not sure if the bow will allow me to get the characteristic tug boat look. It was originaly powered by a 3 cyl Volvo Penta, but a 2 syl Sabb G2 18-20 hp is going back in. Aslo a very sturdy engine with lots of nostalgia.

Anyway. Unfortunaltely I haven't been able to get it out of the "grave yard" yet and there are some branches obstructing the stern view, but I hope you can see enough to make something out of it.

MBMarine the pictures are fine. If you could get one more from the front but over to one side and down low so as to get the mid section turn of the bilge. That would be great. Have drawn up a profile view, which you could use for sketching if you want as I get the surfaces under way.

MBMarine here is the boat model so far if you want any changes let me know as there maybe some parts which would require measurements to get right rather than just from photo’s. Some of the surfaces need a bit more fairing but as this model is just for visualisation they should do. I didn’t know which version of rhino you had so have loaded a V2 and V4.

Not the original cabin roof... I dont have a hatch in the roof of the cabin....

It's not a Fram 21. It's a Myra 20 and it's original. Mine has a tag that says "Myra Plast AS, Kristiansund" and it is labeled 1967. Somewhat similar to the Fram though.
