Tuning the pitch of Waterjets

Times goes by from when you define a projet and order the WJ and then when finaly you do the sea tryals... a lot of things could change so a different pitch of the WJ impellers is required to reach the best performance.

As far as you know, did someone produce or develop variable pitch waterjets?

I like wj, mostly when they're couplet with gasturbines

Variable-pitch water jet? Seeing as good impellers are already horrendously complicated compound shapes cast as single units, making a variable-pitch one that works would be pretty tricky. Maybe put a CVT in front of it instead?
