Blink and it will all be gone....so many beautiful traditions are already forgotten, I see China being flattened daily to make way for the new.

Total villages are wiped off the map and replaced by concrete housing estates so that a few of the wealthy can become more wealthy, it really does nothing for the people, they loose their gardens and have to shop at a supermarket that has rotten stinking food, freezers loaded with bulk pork and chicken and fingers go through the lot to pick out what they want.... it is so sad to see this, and they are told it is for their future....crap.

They would have been better off just left alone to do what they have done for centuries, with just a few inexpensive light bulbs and a tap.

If China thinks it will be making their country more prosperous, it will only be for a short time. I have been here on and off for 2 1/2 years now, hardly any cars then, now they are everywhere, as they get more and more, the roads will simply come to a standstill....their time for gross consumerism a la USA style is coming, because that is what they believe they are entitled to...3rd world country development...but it is rapidly leading to a total mess.

And many of them are simply beautiful people, just do not understand what they are doing to themselves...they have been in the past for too long, and are simply going crazy.

Such is life.......
