    LOL, translated you said -

Not I, dumb. My children is the build of their children from scratch
But I know what you mean, at least you don't have to do breast feeding, all that weight in the front - that will kill your back... and swapping dypers.

All kids do is sleep, sht and cry.

Is this conversation assisting in motivating you to take the next step... or.. ?

"Sleep, sht and cry" and, unfortunately, NOT in that order.

I love the dinghy craddle. Too cute.

Last summer, after dropping my kayaking day trippers and seeing them off, I was tending to routine ship board duties when to my wonder and intense shock I heard a very young baby whaling (SP?).

Immediately I began looking around in horror of finding an infant afloat in this remote area.

A mixture of panic and disbelief filled my sole.

I saw nothing but the cries grew louder.

Suddenly, the bow of a green canoe emerged from the not so distant point with a mum and dad visible.

    Relief.

    Thread drift, sorry.

In what was the wailing infant floating? Was it set out for sole bait? Bless your soul, what did you say to them? :D

The canoe with mum and dad fortunately.

I didn't say a word, they wouldn't have heard me over the wailing anyway!

I did wave though with the biggest smile on my face they've seen in a while.

    Phew.

I built a marine viewer from some of the scrap left over from the bow cuts. It has plexi-glass set into the lower(wide) end.

    Wow, nice inlay!

Oh, that's probably not part of the viewer.

    What's the scale there?

Thanks for the kind word about my clumsy first table with inlay attempt. The box is made from 1/4" marine plywood stained black inside. The circular inlay has a diameter of 23".

    LOL.

For the life of me couldn't figure out just how that "thing" is going to float or how it's going to enhance the boat... :D

I wasn't going to comment until someone else does in case I'm missing something very logic here ;)

Today I learned the Spanish word for it is espello. It is used there to catch crabs.

The word I know for catching crabs isn't appropriate to print here!
