Oops! Typo! It should have said aka not ala. Fixed.

I just bought the hull carrier components. I will post pictures after I have it built. It is basically a beefed up canoe carrier.

So no cross beams?

I like the simplicty, wonder too how you think the bow will perform in the chop?

Looks very good with the akas. Did you ever think about extending the beams beyond the hulls and adding a board from forward aka to the rear ? Might gain a lot of sitting comfort and safety. On the other side - a boat is not a settee.

Thanks, Manfred. I am not considering making the akas wider to provide seating. Seating will be provided after basic hull assembly has been completed. Many small details are still to be worked out such as below decks access, battery placement and so forth. The little boat is already set to be 6 feet(1.83 metres) wide. That is wide enough for a motor-powered boat only 9.5 feet(2.9 metres) long.
