My real problem is to increase stability but still maintain a fine entry and reasonably high deadrise for operation in semi-open waters. The main particulars are LOA 22.1ft, BOA 7.4ft, 3700 lb max load (3000 lb avg), 22 deg deadrise at transom, sterndrive diesel engine (VP D3-190hp WOT at about 39-40knots).

you have that right, the entry is very important, the deadrise of the red boat is too constant, , the deadrise I have found needs to be steep at the bow, and end up about 20-22 stern, the boat then gan be driven hard from crest to crest, where as on the first of those photos of mine, the bow was kinda spoon shaped and we had to slow considerably, in the rough no matter how much you slow, a bow with flatter sections will pound so bad that you have to come off of plane,
When I changed to fine sections, nothing would stop the boat, I had a 20 footer that could outrun anything, and I do mean anything. Will try find the lines

That is an interesting hull Ranchi. I am sure it is very stable both at rest and at speed. How does it behave in a chop, are those sponsors making it harder riding? How did it behave when truning, I expect very little heel? Do you have any sea-trial video to share with the rest of us so we can see the boat in action.

You can see the video on my Boat Design Gallery in this Forum with other ASD boats with speed up to 86 knots.
