How to design ? What about stringers, scantlings etc...

I find two good books

Dave Gerr's Boat Strengh. Not just on strip planking but very good on scantling with strip planking.

I also find a good manual from Selway Fisher Design "A MANUAL OF STRIP PLANK CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES" available at http://www.selway-fisher.com/SFD%20C...uals.htm#STRIP
