Just purchased a 2013 alloy Storm Chaser 610 and wanting to know if there is anyone who knows about these boats and can put me in contact with the builders or last owner. Told these are made to order very solid and well build vessels. Appreciate any information. Thanks Ray

I'm starting to get the picture, very unusual stern treatment.

Has an external cabin, toilet, 18 rod holders, buoyancy compartments built into gunwales and underfloor, ballast tank, port and starboard access doors- gates, hydraulic flooding ballet ram, self draining deck with scuppers at the stern... Some one put a lot of thought and expense into the design.

I always said to my clients
It is as easy to build a beautiful looking boat as an ugly boat
    And cost is same
I find this boat ugly but probably well constructed
    You asked :)))

So waves go around rather than over and so there is plenty of righting when it gets knocked over by a wave. Obviously the boat is meant for big seas relative to boat length and size. It's quite macho. If it has a flaw I would say that it is in the fragile bruiseable puking crew. Plenty of hand holds but too many sharp edges. The boat will cross the river styx to hell and back but hell is not such a popular destination.

You would not see a 6-meter boat with higher sides forward, it has to be a liability.

Yeah, windage is a downer, but it looks like it has plenty of grunt to cope with that.

The extra room in the hulls has to be a MAJOR bonus.

The stern arrangement looks great to me. I have had a motor yacht designed some time ago that specified the same setup. Great to see it in production.
