Slab sides . No flare so no reserve bouyancy. Does it have water ballast to overcome the design flaws. Don't mean to offend but it is not seaworthy.

You have no right, to make me laugh
Also the deadrise fwd is flat
My guess is you will be reduced to walking speedin anything other than flat to a ripple
A good powerboat should be able to jump waves and land softly
    Deadrise a f2 45 degrees
Takealook at the entry of a Don Shead boat

I will dig out some I built6.7 to 9m trailer

Can't say it isn't seaworthy, but the high-rise look seems like an attempt to get a walkaround boat with more sheltered accomodation. Maybe an NZ thing. Whatever the reason, I don't want one !

......and the name of the boat is a touch off-putting. You have to be mad to chase storms !

Its those high sides that concern me. It looks top heavy and i can't see any flare at all. How can it resist rolling . Correct me if i am wrong.

Three i BUILT to jump waves
the red one had her volvo 200 bhp diesel on jack shaft, she was stand up gamefisher, the other seen at speed was for a mussel farmer, the unpainted one, is still awaiting launch 17 years after I delivered bare hull
with this entry nothing can keep up in the rough, nothing
of course I did many more less commercial boats too
