Stiffined shells

Hi there,

I'm studying the stucture of a dinghy. Eventually all end up going to FE modelling but first I need to do some reasarch on theoretical models, to make sure end up with and bunch of GIGO (garbage in, garbage out).

Does anyone recommend any good references on stiffened plates and shells? I currently going through Timoshenkos "Theory of Plates and Shells", but there's only membrane theory for shells, nothing on flexural theory, and nothing on stiffened shells.

Thanks a lot
