Looking to build a 40ft houseboat. Does anybody know where I can purchase a set of off the shelf plans. Looking for a simple design, flat bottom mono hull built from steel, raised cabin for all around vision from helm with lower aft cabin space and outboard motors. there is a guy in NZ designed very nice canal barge for Eu
they are trad lines, but big volume
Dont build a box, just as cheap to build a nice boat

Did not receive any replies from Max Carter Marine coud not open the email address due to internet problems.
Might be just as easy to build a steel crusier instead of houseboat. Can go out to sea if we get sick of the lake.
Looking at a Roberts WR40/42 with a WR38 cabin style.
