Start of a project

I am working on some drawings. Here were I am at right now.
This is just a rough drawing. This is my first of many to come.
I am trying to decide if the bow needs a little work or not.
I have not added windows yet. I want this yacht to be able to do 18 knots if possible. I want this yacht to be a trawler yacht style. I am planning on hiring a naval designer in the near future for some of my ideas. I am all ears and am open to suggestions. Keep in mine I am not a N/A. I am wanting to have a little fun and try to learn something about yacht and design.

http://addictedtophotos.com/ is where the drawing is. I tried to edit it down to fit on the website but I didn't let me.

The drawings are too rough to even discuss them being built. You need to learn some drafting first.

I am not sure what you expect from us, your sketches look very similar to many existing designs that are out there already. I suggest you stop wasting your time and start searching though plans of similar boats you would like to design, find one similar and than alter the living quarters to suite your desires. It would save you from having to start from scratch with an NA, often the designer will do a professional job of altering an existing design for you at much lower cost that starting over.

Or if you intent is to learn how to be a navel architect, go take some classes or a correspondence course. It would be a far more efficient way to learn than fumbling around on the internet.
