| I know that includes all the papers that were wrote and presented for SNAME I really can't call all the papers, but if you think of one that has any relation to SNAME in any of their publications must be there, and if you have more questions, I guess an email or a call to this SNAME will help, which gives me an idea, if there is any SNAME members with good relations with SNAME would it be to difficult to find out a list of all the papers and then post it here? or even the people in charge for this forum I wonder if they can ask this question to SNAME, it will be great for some of the members to know what papers are in the CD. Thanks and have a great year for all you that helps and participate so active in this forum, I hope 2004 becomes more active and larger. |

| List I spoke to the pubs guy at SNAME a couple of weeks ago, and they haven't got all the details up on the website about the CD yet - they rushed it out for the annual meeting. It would probably be a good idea to call them if you are interested. It does not have all the papers, or even all the small craft papers published in the time in question (only one of mine !!), but it has about 350 papers that are probably the most important. I believe it was selected by the small craft T&R committee. I strongly recommend it. The papers run the gamut of sail and power and include local section papers, CSYS papers, papers from Transactions, Journal of Ship Research, some of the special symposia (Fast99, for instance) and Marine Technology. I could think of a few more that I would have added, but it is a pretty solid collection, and contains many of the most important ones. I will call on Monday and suggest they post the index here. |
