shaft center line.

    i am having two engines one in port and other starboard, my breadth is 10 m ,could any one tell to how much off center line i can can keep my engine and its shaft.

    If you mean how much you can separate or space them, that is as much as you can get the engines close to the hull sides. If you mean not aligned with the centerline, the answer is not at all.

    is there any rule regarding this spacing of the main engine? i mean rule with classification societies.
