I have a 1977 Searay SRV 22' with a rear mounted 351 Mercrusier. Total weight of motor and drive is about 1200lbs. The fuel tank is 70 gal (US) mounted in the floor ahead of the engine.

With no dealer here that can work on the unit and it is getting a little long in the tooth I'm considering changing the inboard out for twin 90 hp outboards total weight of 750lbs.

I plan to mount the outboards on a alumium bracket that extends 20' of the back of the boat. What does worry me is what effect the LCG will have on this change and if there are any other issues I should take into consideration.

    Thanks
