| yeah i thought that would make since before i posted the thread but i am in auto cad and my boat is 10 meters long on lwl and when i bring the generator file from northern lights over it is huge. and is on a 1:5 scale that is why i seem to be having some difficulty scaling in down to fit my drawing. sorry i wasn't as clear before on what the issue actually was |

| Most metric CAD drawings are not drawn in scale but in full size in meters or mm. The drawing is then scaled for plotting. Edit: I looked, it is indeed full size in m.m. I sometimes have that the other way round. ![]() |
