you should search for old threads on the subject

1) the sellers of these cd / pdf plans have no legal right to sell the plans. They are not licensed plans.
2) from previous reviews I understood that they might be ok for rc-models but not nearly accurate or correct enough for a full scale models.

I must say I hate this kind of enterprising - download something and then sell on cd - someone else's work too.

On ebay there is a guy who sells poster of movies and video games. Basically he has downloaded high resolution images from somwehere and prints them at wall greens or whatnot and sells at great markup. Pisses me off because he is doing this with some work I have created. I have no property rights for it but I cetainly put some serious sweat and hours for the work and now some wanker sells the image for 20 bucks a pop - all he did was find the image and have it printed.

Find a lawyer, rob the bastard out! If its your picture, its your property and he has to pay for every single copy.
Your in the US! Since Nader you know how much you can ask for such issue.

Take a look at this site. They offer several models of the old classic mahogony boats from speedsters to 24' classic cockpit boats. once you find the names be sure to look at customer photos. Some gorgeous boats here.

All original design, full size plans and all done by a Naval Architect and 100s have been built many with personal changes.

A small but neat look. https://www.boatdesigns.com/products.asp?dept=217

Yeah - I created the content but big corporation owns the rights - we have let them know but it really isn't my fight. if it was my personal work etc. I would certainly be on their case.
