Professional Boatbuilder Magazine www.proboat.com is going to start an online class very soon that is all about using Rhino to design boats. You might want to get yourself enrolled and get it straight from one of the guys who knows his stuff, Cliff Estes.

This link is for the class that just ended... http://rhino0901.eventbrite.com/
but you can get enrolled for the next class which is scheduled for May 2, of this year.

Well one way you can do it, that works well is to create hull section or create you line of your boat, and them just simply create a surface using your curves. (if you go to the surface command there are 4-5 different options, like curve network, corner points, edge points) just read the instruction in the text menu bar and it should work for ya,For a beginner that is probally the easiest....
Good Luck
