Retractable bulb keel

I would like information on building a retractable bulb keel for my Tasar dinghy. Given that the daggerboard case is not reinforced for a great deal of weight, how much weight do you think I could safely have in the bulb? I would also like to remove the whole board for transport so would the bulb have to be removable or the top of the board? Are there any websites showing the construction of one? What are the best methods to raise and lower the board while sailing singlehanded? Thanks, Burt
