halo!i am studying hydrodynamic performance of catamaran planning hulls.i am using SavitskY method for resistance prediction. However the method is applied on planning mono-hulls. What corrections should i follow?

This one is also referring to Savitsky's experiments with cat SHAPEs:

"Experimental Investigation of the Lift and Interference of Asymmetric Planing Catamaran Demi-Hulls" by Michael Morabito.

thank you very much for the help!!!useful papers!i started using NavCad , which calculates resistance automatically with various empirical methods, by using your vessels parametres an water condition. this is a good tool too!

You might read the past issue of Pro Boat Builder to see how simple and practical foils have become for higher speed, more efficient , and better riding Cats.
