You can buy a cheepie remote control boat at walmart for about $30 - at least i think that's what mine cost. If you have to build a new hull, just scavenge the motor and RC parts out of it and build a new hull out of balsa.

no because the cheap ones at walmart have a different drive system mine will have 2 airplane propelers out of water as a thrusting force and 2 rudders as steering and i need a much greater range because i'm putting a wireless video cam on it for cruising in the harbor full of BIG boats
