Questions about a design I came across...

Alright guys, I've come across a picture in the gallery that I think is awesome. I'm not trying to step on anyones toes by taking this idea, but I have the materials and maybe even a motor to fit in it. My question is about proplusion and steering, What kind of drive do y'all think? direct drive? jet? And how about a rudder if it's stern drive?. Mabye even plans or specs if anyone has them. Any thoughts would be helpful. Here's the picture I'm talking about:

There is a similar boat here:
http://www.adventuresofgreg.com/HPB/...7_archive.html

It has some useful accommodation and a bit airier. It is intended for pedal drive but would give good speed with electric motor and has capacity to carry a decent battery. The design has been fully detailed for flat pack carbon fibre composite construction.

Long slender hulls are easily driven but you need to provide stability with ballast or outriggers. The one shown has a ballasted keel.

You cannot place weight anywhere in such boats as weight in the ends will alter trim dramatically. The boat shown has an internal well for mounting a drop-in drive leg.
