In the older wooden work garveys, a hogged sheer was built into the skiffs, since most were operated by tiller steering requiring the person to be in the stern. This was helped a bit by installing the stick steering and cable, allowing you to set a bit foward, helping the runing angle and visibility. . Unless you had a load in them, the nose ran up in the air and late in the afternoon and evening time, its was almost impossible to see anything floating in the water, as just one consideration with the dropped sheerline.

reverse sheer -> tanzer 22

I think one of the best examples of this is the tanzer 22... Not my favorite look, but reverse sheer really adds volume to the accommodations:

Flush deck maybe. But not the same as a reverse sheer.

Guess you could say my moustache has a reverse sheer, you know what walrus's are!

Right that's put everybody off the reverse sheer thing, apart from the guys with the older boats that are just knackered (to much hogging I guess)

Thanks, to most all, that answered.
There was no bet. And I was asking just to confirm what I thought I knew to be true.

As to this:

"Sheeeeze! some people

Call yourself a Captain? what of? a pool team?"

So much for British courtesy.

That's Ok Bill I appreciate your frankness - not even a pool team eh!

"That's what I like about you - nothing!"
