Polyethylene makes for ugly boats. I worked on enough new Polycraft boats to be disgusted at the price they thought they could charge for a basically very unfair, ugly, crude looking boat. The only thing I liked about them was the way they welded cabins onto their boats. I did not like standing on decks and cabin tops and having them invert.....
PE also absurdly heavy if built to be even vaguely as stiff as a cheap alloy production boat, and get hollow spots in the planing surfaces anywhere near a roller or trailer skid. I like how their advertising touts the fact they flex like noodles as an advantage at sea.......
No way known you could build a boat of PE sheet and have it even remotely as stiff as a well made plywood hull and the plywood would kill it on weight and price in the end.
If you really want easy to build, cheap and don't want adhesives and glues, do a welding course and buy one of the water cut alloy boat kits from WA.

    Regards, Andrew.
