You know, I might just do that. My boy's almost 6 and I bet he'd like a pop-pop boat, and I just found an old roll of kevlar. Doesn't that stuff tend to absorb water? Should I try to dry it out first? I should do a test piece just to check it out, and a pop-pop boat is a nice size. I just need a mold...

i was gona do it with plywood but over the weakend ill do the juice version ill leave the more "complicated" version later

Damp sand has been used as a boat mold in the past. Somewhere on this forum there was mention of it being done beachside.
