Years ago for fun I built pulse jet engines.

I don't think it would be too bright to have one with the exhaust under water....probably kill all fish within a good distance.

Would need to be a valved unit as well.

The inlet could be fed from an internal tank, like a gravity fed livewell located close to the boiler rings?

Rotate the boiler end of the pipe 90 degrees to the heat source and add a second ring to the boiler pipe loops.

Add a venturi tube at the condensing point of the steam to increase pressure.

 

wouldn't the continuous water feed not give enough time to generate steam?

I hope you will use kevlar-epoxy or carbon-epoxy prepregs for the hull. If you do things, do'em right.
