I have drawings, scantlings, ... for this boat, which could be transformed to what you need.

    Rusty barge,

BWSeacat are excellent, just beyond my financial reach, so to speak and a tad over board meaning over-build for --my-- cruising ground.
But i certainly am a great fan of what the team builds:

    Alik:

Albatros is an expensive design office, Dr. Alberto Nazarov asked me 30 k Euros for a set of plans including the EC requisite 3/4 months ago!
he studied in Ukraine, got his doctorate some years ago from Sevastopol, Crimea, where the Russian Black Sea base is located.
A couple years ago he activated canoe stern design which late m. Tennant integrated in his designs late 80'.

    Way beyond my budget.

    And the search goes on!
Few cat designer, even less power cat, even less displacement power cat and even less commercial displacement power cat and even less commercial displacement power cat for home builder with ply or strip or cold!
    That simple!
Example: experienced rightly so famous Roger Hill: 21 power cat in portfolio but only two displacement and all are pleasure craft, none work cat.

    Safe winds to all.

I know that BW sea cats sell kits for home completion; just a guess: the complete hull moulding joined, but without the decks or superstructure would probably be less than £40k, just think of the thousands of hours of work that would save!

...as an ex boat builder I would say its worth buying a hull moulding as the manufacturer just pops it out of the mould, hey presto you've got your hull!

It also makes your project worth much more when you come to sell, because you've got a recognised commercial professionally designed hull.

    Rusty barge,

You are so very right, shaving time when our own biological clock is ticking away by the minute is a must!
    Fully aware!

    BWSeacat
Plans: asked Iain/ Ben a week ago or so: they do not sell plans.
Kit set is a very good option, true.
FAFB: Recently they offered one (slot) for there 11 m. 109 k GBP without VAT if i recall; did not even ask about engines included or not and witch breed! Nanni 200 they like.
When will they offer there next slot? They are busy and surely will come back home with some orders from Seawork.

Still, will ask them again which kit configuration/dimension they could sell and when could they deliver!

    Thanks for the idea.
By any chance, do you know of other kits around?

    Pros:
    Safehaven
    Southboats,
    Cougar GB
    Alnmaritec
    Cougar Ozzie
    Catapult
    Mac Duff
    American Marine
    Etc.
Do not sell plans even less for ply or strip or cold!
Plenty do not answer your inquiry or try to sell you their finish steel vessel.

    PAtience!
    Safe winds,
    Sinclair

My current project is a Small Cat, so I bought a hull moulding from cheetah catamarans in the uk for home completion, but it's only a 25' version: cost £18k plus vat.

Here's a 11 mtr version for home completion, it's just the hull moulding and outboard transoms without any interior....I've got a feeling you are still looking at quite a big budget for this because it's got a wheelhouse and windows, doors etc, but if you ordered just the hull on its own it could be much more reasonable......

Sean the owner is very nice, if you give him a call he will let you know what sort of price a 11mtr hull moulding would cost and if they would build one for you.

The whole concept is designed around narrow hull spacing, which acts like a giant shock absorber; the waves get funnelled down the tunnel trapping air, which softens out the ride.

If you buy a wide beam cat you will be stuck permanently on the sea; to big to fit on a low loader and truck, hard to find places with a hoist wide enough to lift it out, can only go as deck cargo on a ship=£££££ times 10.

The 11 meter Cheetah cats have a fantastic reputation and will fit on a low loader......ok so you will have a slightly smaller deck space but will save lots of weight instead, meaning fuel economy of 2ltrs/ mile at 20 kts.

I've been on a demo ride in the cheetah open version without the wheelhouse; they use it as a tour boat in the summer; it flies with Twin 90 hp engines using about 6 gal/hr at 18 kts when lightly loaded.

No sure if you can get in at £40k for this hull though...?
