I am considering building a 90' X 28' self propelled barge. Does anyone have any plans that might serve as a starting point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi tbarton,
What's the intended use of the barge? If you're using it for hauling a sewage truck out to an island in the Gulf, you'll need something different than for hosting a 100-person drink-n-dance party.
Barges are pretty simple. Most shipyards will either have stock plans for some, or can put you in touch with someone who does, or have old barges you can retrofit to your needs. At this size, there will almost have to be a shipyard involved.
