Photography - Floating darkroom...

Try this on for size. I was thinking about an extended documentary project. Photoraphing a bay and estuary system, with large format glass plate. (lets not get into why).

I have a 36 deep keel sailboat that obviously not work for this. I need a new vehicle for this project. Sort of a floating VW van so to speek. A stable platform, shallow draft, modest sleeping and working space and cheep to operate. A 30' Lafitte skiff would be nice but WAY to expensive to operate.

Power or Sail, Moter sailor woild be the best.

First things that come to mind are:

Herreshoff Meadowlark?
One of Brewers Kodiacs?
Seapearl 28?
Willard Vega?
Some of Bolgers stuff...
perhaps a catamaran??

Maybe a converted Carolina skiff with a diesel outboard?
