May I get the offset files of both chine and round bilge mono or multi hull vessel for only research purpose in my university?
You can send me at nabila.buet@gmail.com.

    Thanks in advance.

It is rare that the same boat will have chined and round bilged hulls.
None that I am personally aware of.

Most of us on this forum are also not the designers of boats.
That information is owned by the designer, and we are not able to provide it to another person without the permission of the designer.

You probably need to communicate with a designer directly.
I expect you will also need to explain why you are requesting such data.

There are so many people who try to scam information (and money) over the internet that I personally would not provide such data without more understanding.

    Good luck with school.

Separate offset file of chine and round bilge hull

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Actually, I need separate offset file of two ships: one having chine hull and another having round bilge hull not the ship having both types of hull together.

I request such kind of data only for my M.Sc research purpose. I am doing CFD research of ship. For that I need offset file of above mentioned ships . It will be very helpful for me if you can provide me such data or give the contact information of any designer/ any site where I can communicate directly. I will acknowledge the support in my research paper if you give me permission.

    Regards

The second semester has started and students are looking for assignment answers again. Their test books must be quite poor and I guess Google search, sucks in some parts of the world.

one ship model with chine hull
and another ship model with round bilge hull.
I requested only for my research purpose and it is not my assignment answer.
I heard that your website is quite helpful for finding such kind of help that's why I sought help.
    Anyway thanks.

What kind of ship? What size? What speed? What kind of research? What shall the results demonstrate?

    CFD research

Model ship offset data is needed for CFD analysis using Shipflow CFD code.
No need of size or speed of ship, just need offset data of two ship models: one with hard chine hull and another with round bilge hull.

Actually I am searching offset data of chine hull and round bilge hull in a dat file with x, y, z coordinate of the hull with origin located at any reference point like aft perpendicular or midship ..like following :

If a kayak would be enough of a "ship" you can get a cheap book from Nick Shade for the round bilged example.
There were free examples of chined hulled kayaks in a web site for skin on frame boats

    Would that be enough?
If you are just handing out CFD assignments it seems that you wouldn't need full sized "ships".
