| update Here's an update on my Nordson. The past months ive been working to level the templates. The original hull was twisted and hugged about 3 cm. This is all reduced to 2-4 mm. I've made a new transom of 2 layers of 18mm mahogany Bruynzeel multiplex which will be finished on the outside with 8mm Sipo mahogany. The new oak keel is in place and all leveled. Wright now i am working to fit the stem to the keel. The stem is made of 15 pieces of 6mm oak planks laminated together. I hope to start with rebuilding the hull this summer. Keep you posted. Best regards, Roderik |

| Hi there, I have been working in de last weeks again on my Nordson. The project has been slow in the winter and my priorities were elsewhere. This summer, the boat has got to see some water. I have now painted most of the inside, and am now fixing the front decking with a sandwich panel of glass and epoxy with veneer (mahogany; 2 mm) on top. It will be the traditional mahongany with light stripes (koto) between them. This evening, I want to start with that....! Pictures of your boat would be great? Could you maybe post some of them? The price...? I guess that depends on the state of the boat. I paid 100,- euros for mine...;-) Ciao, Eric |
