non sail trimaran

i saw on what i believe was a discovery channel specal a few years ago that was about a new design of a very large trimaran and had no sails!-only four vertical wings mounted on a pivoting base that ALWAYS pointed into the wind-i was wondering if anyone has heard about this and could give me info on it or a link to a site about it-thanks

You probably saw something on the Walker Wingsail (http://www.boatshow.com/Zefyr43.html, http://www.cookeassociates.com/images/ny.jpg). Formerly built in the UK, now bankrupt. I believe only a handfull were completed.
