| New Yacht Kit Designs I have designed a new dingy kit which I am planing to sell online. My question is, how much liability insurance and legal protection should I get. It starts to really add up $$ and takes the fun out of what I was hoping to be a small sideline income to fund more boat projects. Take a look at, http://goyachts.org/ Edit/Delete Message |

| The boats look really interesting but the website is so jerky that I found it difficult to get around. I don't know anything about the liability issue and I do think that most people don't carry insurance on plans or kits since the tort reform laws were passed in the USA. Best thing is to be poor (like most designers) and the lawyers won't take a case against you. ![]()

| Thank you Tom for your feedback. I am aware my website is crappy and I plan on having another crack at it soon. |
