| Hi TomE, They do have two voith schnider units one at each side of the Tug, just little bit forward of the midship section, i believe Østensjø is one of the companys that works "bulling" around the big tankers, impresive machines and impresive work |

| I asked the guys at Hubner Braun some questions that are to my interrest, but no reply so far. An other source states it is a pretty noisy system. Not the best choise for a leasure craft I suppose.

| The noise may be the reason this drive is not used. Perhaps a larger diameter at lower rpms would reduce vibration and other noise. Will have to wait and see as to how this system developes in for the small boat catagory. With many "uncontrolled" countries developing old and new technologies we should see many advancements in the next few years. Just hope the corporations and major governments don't find them before they make it to market. |

| I'm confused as to the small area of water being excited and aggitated - won't this always have an inherent cavitation problem? |
